Zebra 2 - Basic Rhythmic Pad
In this Zebra 2 – Basic Rhythmic Pad I show you how to make the Pad from an earlier video more interesting by making it rhythmic.
We achieve this by using certain different methods, the easiest of which is to modulate the oscillators volume control by using an LFO. (Low Frequency Oscillator).
We discuss some of the LFO`s parameters and how they affect the Oscillators volume, things like the AMP`s effect on the overall depth of the modulation.
We activate oscillator 2 and repeat the settings in relation to modulation we get a deeper wider sound. However as there are now 2 Oscillators we can make the modulation specifics different on each oscillator for variety and interest.
In Zebra 2 – Basic Rhythmic Pad we also add a filter and a G.L.F.O (Global Low Frequency Oscillator) we use the filter settings to add even more modulation and character to the overall sound.
Trying to keep this simple but giving you an understanding of how easy and fast you can make certain sounds, especially if you have a template to start from, is the beauty of the Zebra 2 – Basic Rhythmic Pad tutorial.
