Traktor - Delay Freeze Effects

In this tutorial, we learn how to use the freeze feature of Traktor’s delay effects, as well as a similar use of the new Wormhole Macro Effect.

This tutorial covers how to use the freeze feature of Traktor’s delay effects, as well as a similar use of the new Wormhole Macro Effect. When used in Single mode, as opposed to the Group mode which allows more effects to be loaded but simplifies the controls, each of the delay effects in Traktor features a Freeze button. This freezes the current audio stored in the delay effect and allows it to ring out with a slow fade.

The new Wormhole Macro Effect is similar in practice to using the freeze feature of Traktor’s delay effect but can be performed on just one knob and used in group mode in a larger effects chain. Experiment with all of Traktor’s delay effects in order to be able to drop the right one into the mix at the right time.
