Create an Uplifting EDM Lead in Sylenth
In this tutorial, learn how to create an uplifting EDM lead in Sylenth1 as well as some tips and tricks for generating noise in Sylenth.
I find it very interesting that certain sounds can have different moods. Depending on how you process them in a synth, a sound can range from moody to happy. This uplifting EDM lead in Sylenth1 is a great sound for those feel good bangers.
It’s actually a fairly basic preset. The modulation envelopes are what keeps this sound interesting as well as the detune and effects.
You can take away some tips and tricks from this EDM lead in Sylenth1 and apply it to other sounds.
First, Sylenth1 doesn’t come with a dedicated noise oscillator, but you can use one of the regular ones for that purpose. I used OSC B1 to create some noise. I also ended up running that noise filter through a bandpass cut off. Some people have complained that Sylenth doesn’t have a noise oscillator, but it can actually be more flexible to use a standard oscillator to introduce noise. You also have any of the other parameters available to you that every oscillator in Sylenth has, which becomes very flexible!
