Stereo Widening Tips In Sylenth
I wanted to put a few tips for stereo widening in Sylenth in one video. These techniques will work with leads, basses and even plucks.
1.) Pan some of your oscillators to different positions. This is especially helpful on sounds that use 3-4 oscillators.
2.) Don’t forget to try out FX like Phaser and Flanger. These two effects can add a good amount of stereo widening in Sylenth.
3.) Modulating the pan positions. This is the most interesting technique for stereo widening in Sylenth in that you can use either the MOD ENV or an LFO to modulate the pan. I like using a slow moving LFO to modulate the pan position of each active oscillator. This is a subtle, yet powerful tool for adding stereo depth to any sound.
