Sync and MIDI Learn in Sylenth
In this tutorial, Echo Sound Works shows you just what is happening with the Sync and MIDI Learn in Sylenth.
he Sync and MIDI learn in Sylenth are two powerful settings that can make using the synth more fun.
The sync knob will be checked or illuminated by default. What this does is it syncs any parameters in Sylenth to your host or DAW BPM and will set those parameters to display in note values. Take the LFO’s for instance. When the sync is selected, the rate of the LFO will display in a note value. When it is off, the rate will be displayed in Hertz.
The MIDI learn in Sylenth is a very fun tool to use. If you check the button, as it is orange click on any parameter or knob in Sylenth. Now move the Mod Wheel on your MIDI controller and that parameter will be assigned to it. As you move the Mod Wheel, the MIDI learn button will turn off or it will no longer be orange.
