Learn How To Tempo Sync The Reverb in Sylenth
Echo Sound Works shows you how to tempo sync the reverb in Sylenth and make it sound more musical.
Sometimes in production, the smallest little mix and or sound design tweaks can make a world of difference. Syncing your reverb’s pre-delay to your BPM is one of those tricks. Ever since I learned this trick, I have found myself using the reverb in Sylenth more often.
At 128 BPM, here are some MS values you could use with the reverb in Sylenth.
- 1/8th note = 234 MS Pre-delay
- 1/16th note = 117 MS pre-delay
- 1/24th note = 78 MS pre-delay
- 1/32nd note = 58 MS pre-delay
Again, those are just applicable for songs at 128 BPM. But this comes in handy when your tracks start to get thick with reverbs and delays. These MS values can be used with any reverb plugin too!
