Learn How To Make A Mono EDM Lead in Sylenth

I really liked how this mono EDM lead in Sylenth turned out. On it’s own, it’s a really simple sound, but it fit’s very nicely in the context of a mix. Add some effects and glitches, and you have yourself a drop worthy sound!

The most important sound design step for getting this mono EDM lead to fit into a mix actually has nothing to do with the sound itself. It is really important to EQ your other tracks around this style of lead. So spread out what you can with pans and definitely EQ tracks that are sharing too many high frequencies.

I used an instance of the LFO tool on the bass and chord tracks to further separate space in the mix from the mono EDM lead. This is another great trick to free up room in your drop sections.
