Learn How To Make a Huge Pulse Lead in Sylenth
In this tutorial, Echo Sound Works will show you how to make a huge Pulse lead in Sylenth. If you are sick of the Supersaw sound, you’ll enjoy this sound!
This tutorial will show you how to create a modern sounding Pulse lead in Sylenth. If you ever get sick of using Supersaw leads this tutorial is for you!
Sylenth1 comes with three variations of the Pulse waveform. This Pulse lead in Sylenth uses a combination of the Pulse and the HPulse waveforms. I used the HPulse to help add some top end to the sound.
I also added some noise using the first oscillator in PART B of Sylenth1. I have found that adding a Bandpass filter type to your noise oscillator is a great way to change it from a white noise to a bright noise. This is a great technique in general to make your sounds in Sylenth stick out more in a busy mix.
The MODENV settings are very important for this sound. The actual filter and master Cut Off settings are set very low and are being opened up by the settings on the MODENV1 and MODENV2. Pay careful attention to those if you’re trying to recreate the exact sound!
