Your First 30 Minutes Inside Sylenth Beginner Tutorial
In this Sylenth beginner tutorial, learn everything I wish I could have learned in my first 30 minutes of using the synth! Think of it as a video manual.
Sylenth is an amazing soft synth. It can be as simple or complex as you want to make it. Your first 30 minutes inside of Sylenth should be used to understand just what is going on behind the scenes. And if you’re like me and hate reading manuals, this tutorial is for you!
At it’s core, Sylenth1 is virtual analog synthesizer that contains 4 oscillators and 2 filters. It is broken up into two pages with 2 oscillators per page.
Any Sylenth beginner tutorial wouldn’t be complete without talking about the waveforms available to you. There are 8 total waveform types; Saw, Pulse, HPulse, Qpulse, Sine, Triangle, Noise and TriSaw.
One of Sylenth’s best features is it’s filters. They have an extremely “analog-ish” sound. They may not sound exactly like a true analog synth’s filters, but they do sound really good for a soft synth.
Even though this is a Sylenth beginner tutorial, you more advanced users still might learn some things you never knew before so check out the video!
