Make A Festival House Lead in Sylenth
In this tutorial, recreate a Festival House lead in Sylenth. It sounds a little bit analog and a little bit digital, a great combination!
I love sounds that are a little vintage and modern at the same time. They sound unique to my ears. This Festival House lead in Sylenth definitely has both qualities and I think that makes it a very useful sound.
The Festival House lead in Sylenth is made up of only Saw waves. The magic is happening in the Oscillator section and the MOD ENV 1 section.
To create a sound that is both analog and digital sounding, turn off the retrigger for one oscillator and leave it on for the other. It helps to add some extra detune to the oscillator that has the inactive retrigger button.
To add a bit of a pluck element to the sound, you can set the MOD ENV2 to the Pitch AB destination and give the decay just a little boost. This will help make it cut through a mix!
