Chill Out With This Deep House Bass In Sylenth
In this tutorial, Echo Sound Works shows you how to make a Deep House bass in Sylenth. It would also work week with Techno and Garage.
This Deep House bass in Sylenth proves that it’s not just a Trance synthesizer. Sylenth is a really versatile soft synth and even though it can be a little difficult to make Deep House basses in it, it’s definitely doable!
I’ve always found it odd that some of the best Deep House basses sound so simple, yet there is a lot going on behind the scenes to make that sound happen. Whether it’s subtle distortion, filters or clever EQ tricks, most Deep House basses aren’t as simple as they sound. I used the Sausage Fattener and some EQ to polish the bass.
I used all 4 oscillators in to make this Deep House bass in Sylenth. Two oscillators are Sine waves, which contribute the low end, one is a noise generator and the other is using a Pulse wave. You have to get the filter settings right otherwise the Pulse wave will overtake the sound and lose it’s Deep House feel.
