Serum has quickly become one of my favorite synths when it comes to creating pads and drones. There are two reasons for this. First, the fact that the noise oscillator can be used as sampler allows for re-synthesis (meaning sampling sounds, adding fx and running them through a synth like serum again)and second, the flexible LFO’s can be used to create evolving sounds.
