The Eerie Beats

Heavily inspired by the mid 90’s illbient scene from Birmingham and New York respectively, this collection stands at the intersection of Industrial, Dub, Metal, Dark Ambient, Noise and Trip-Hop. Gritty, sedated drums swarm amidst tortured textures, on tape.

Treated with analog distortion, tape saturation, fuzz and crunch pedals, live drums are then chopped MPC-style and layered with dark, brooding textures to achieve the unique sound of the time.
