Borrowing from the ‘prepared’ piano concept developed by Avant-garde 20th century composers, we’ve manipulated the instrument’s mechanisms of strings, hammers and soundboard by decorating them with all manner of odd objects to transform its sound, into something truly distinctive and exciting.
Alongside the core set of samples, 2 drum sampler kits are also included as well as 3 kits of specific sample types (beaters, taps and plastic hits), to allow for quick exploration of the pack and development of rhythmic ideas right from the get go.
