- OVERVIEW

Get a thorough walkthrough of every feature of Ableton lives brand new Echo device using a percussive drum arrangement.
- DRUM BUSS
Learn how to use the new Drum Buss device to alter the sound of a kick drum. See how to use the Drum Buss across a drum group and go through each feature of the device whilst analysing the changes on metering plugins. Also discover some other uses for the Drum Buss such as using it in a parallel configuration.
- PEDAL
Get up to speed on Ableton Live’s new Pedal device which emulates a range of guitar pedals. See how you can use the pedal on some less conventional sounds such as vocals and loops whilst quickly building out a funky disco arrangement.
- EQ8 & UTILITY
Understand the new changes to the Eq8 and Utility device then use these devices to build some subtle tension and release during a build-up by automating the gain and width parameters.
Arrangement, Editing & More
- MULTI CLIP EDITING
The new multi midi clip editing feature allows you to select entire sections of the arrangement and edit all the clips at the same time. This can be used to aid you in building rhythms ad harmonies during composition sessions as well as also being a useful mixing and arrangement tool.
- MIDI CAPTURE
Master the new Midi Capture feature in Ableton Live, this allows you to capture any midi ideas that you may be jamming onto the keyboard without having the need to press record.
- ARRANGEMENT VIEW EDITING
Make the most of the changes to arrangement view and how you edit clips in this view, such as the drag and drop areas, fades, warping and time-stretching.
- AUTOMATION
Touch on all of the changes to how Automation works in Ableton Live, such as snapping break points, getting constant numerical value feedback and modifier keys to lock automation onto a single axis.
- STEREO PAN & DRUM RACK ROUTING
Understand some of the new features that will affect your mixing in Ableton Live, such as the ability to change your balance controls to a split stereo pan control & the ability to route a drum pads output to a drum-rack return track, allowing you to now sub-mix from entirely within a drum-rack.
