Load Your Own Samples in NI Polyplex
In this tutorial, Johnny will show you how you can quickly load up your own samples in NI Polyplex.
If you’ve ever used Kontakt to load up your own samples, you will feel right at home loading up custom sounds in NI Polyplex.
The first thing you have to do is go up to the top of NI Polyplex and click the icon that looks like an audio waveform. This will bring up the sample map editor beneath the main layout.
Just like in Kontakt, if you grab a batch of samples from a folder they will illuminate once they get over the sample map editor. By default, each sample will be loaded to multiple zones or keys. If you don’t let up on your mouse and drag downwards, the zones in which the samples are mapped to will shrink all the way down to one key. If you leave a sample set to multiple keys or zones, it will be pitched by default.
