This is a cool one! In less than a minute you can get some awesome water-like sounds from NI Massive and this quick video tutorial from YouTube user ProwaveRecords walks us through the process. He also suggests doing two more things to get the best sound from using this technique. First, you will need to cut all of the bottom end using a parametric equalizer. And you will also want to use a noise remover and limiter to remove the excess noise and crackles.
