As with most recreations, this sound isn’t exactly like the one heard in the song, but it’s getting close and leaves you plenty of room to make it your own sound. A very nice sound to bring into a wide variety of styles of music, it has a good feel to it and offers up a lot of character. Using only one polysaw oscillator and one lowpass filter, you can easily add one or two more oscillators and route them to the second filter and program some macros to move between two or more different sounds. Another way to change this one up a bit and still sound quite natural, or unforced in any way, is to introduce a subtle phasing through the Modulation OSC. And, of course, adding a tube amp and some dimension expander would help to boost up this sound and widen it a bit. You can also go into your 4Env tab and increase the decay level for added volume.

One envelope and one LFO is all it takes to give this sound its signature feel and is one more area that you can look at to add a little flavor of your own, if you like. It’s a quick and easy thing to add a modulator to the amp of an LFO or the level, release or sustain of the envelope to give it more development and interest. A touch of noise and feedback are also good ideas for added character. I offer up so many suggestions of ways to enhance this sound because it does need some more work to get it to the big sound Rusko has in his track, but it can get there without too much more tweaking, and there are plenty of opportunities to add a little you along the way.
