This is a sweet sound that is used by a lot of very popular groups across many genres of music nowadays, and can also be heard in the song February Air by Lights. For those of you using FL Studio, you’re in luck because this lesson is geared towards all of you. For everyone else, fear not, you can get it done just as easy in any other DAW and the plugins shown here can obviously be swapped out for whatever you prefer to use in your projects. Sometimes a simple sound such as this one will make all the difference in a song, and add a touch of character you never knew was missing. Try using some different Noise settings or perhaps some slight distortion effects to give it a little more grit. Or you can insert some chorus or spreading to achieve a wider and more hypnotic sound. Any way you do it, it will be sure to help bring your song to life in a new way.
