FX with Massive - Part 1 - Uplifter

This week we are starting a new Month long series that delves into the development of sound FX using NI Massive!

Welcome back to the Members only video tutorials for NI Massive. This week we are kicking off a new month long series dedicated to creating sound effects using NI Massive. Over the course of these tutorials, we will take a look at creating Uplifters, Downlifters, Impacts and Sweeps. So strap in and lets get started!

In this weeks tutorial, Jonny shows us how to create an Uplifter effect that is useful for creating a feeling of acceleration. Using NI Massive’s Stepper to modulate the pitch of the oscillators up two octaves and a Performer to modulate the the pitch of the oscillators down an octave, Jonny creates an incredible reverse pitch modulation effect. The amount of movement this sound creates is amazing!
