Deep House Arp in Massive
The process of creating a killer Arpeggiator can be a bit strenuous. But in this tutorial, our sonic ninja, Jonny Strinati, will break down and simplify the process of creating a Deep House Arp within NI Massive!
Today we’re looking at creating a beautiful Deep House Arpeggiator. This video tutorial comes from our collection of past Member tutorials. If you would like to receive quality NI Massive videos like these on a weekly basis, remember to sign up for our mailing list. Now on to the video…
The Deep House Arp takes advantage of two sharply-attacked oscillators – A Pulse-Saw PWM and a Square-Saw wavetable. Both routed through Filter 1, with the Filter containing a Lowpass 4. But what really drives this sound, is it’s arpeggiation.
The Deep House Arp is a fairly minimalistic sound. The base of the sound is pretty much completed by the two minute mark of the video. But what really makes this patch shine is the use of the Stepper and LFO! It’s a bit tough to explain, but check out the video to see how Jonny details the Stepper and LFO section to create the intricate sounding melody.
