Vintage Distortion Unit From 1993

In this video, we get a sound demo of the Distortotron, a 1993 analogue distortion unit with a combined downsampler, bitreducer, and overdrive. As you can hear, it yields some wildly pleasant manipulations to the original sound.

Presently, there’s seems to be a never-ending battle for things to sound perfect. Given this, we can certainly appreciate the gritty tones from vintage processing units such as this one.
