Underwater Musical Performance

AquaSonic, a project founded by Danish musicians Laila Skovmand and Robert Karlsson, cultivates an underwater performance using their own custom-made instruments. Given the complexity in the way sound travels through water, this project clearly must’ve required plenty of research and hard work.

It is quite interesting to hear these compositions in the sonic stage of underwater submersion, producing sounds as they refer to as “both eerily melodic and powerfully resonant.”
