These MIDI Devices Turn Everyday Objects Into MIDI Controllers

In this video from Fact Mag, we get a demonstration of some new devices from Playtronica, a startup company that aims to turn everyday objects, including our own conductive skin, into musical toolkits.

One of Playtronica’s notable devices include the Playtron, priced at $80, is an electronic device that can turn anything into a musical instrument.

For work, connect conductive materials to the board – water, metal, vegetables or a human body and play music through touch.

The kit includes: MIDI controller Playtron for working with music programs (12×6 cm), 18 crocodile wires, USB-wire, and instructions and envelope for storage.
