The Reflex Reinvents Remixing

London based producer and DJ The Reflex, has reinvented the art of remixing by taking things back to basics, using only the original stems from a slew of funk, soul, rock and disco classics, to create modern sounding club bombs, attracting plays from heat weights such as Joey Negro, Gilles Peterson and Craig Charles.

He recently dropped a third collection of edits over on his Bandcamp page featuring killer edits of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and many more, but they are mysteriously missing at the moment. We reckon he spends as much time in the studio as he does batting away one copyright claim after another! You can check out many of his edits on his YouTube page and marvel at what he can do with just a bunch of original stems and a pair of white hot digital scissors!
