The Gecho Loopsynth Is A Pocket-Sized Granular Sampler/Synthesizer
In this video from Youtuber BoBeats, we get a demo of the Gecho Loopsynth, a pocket-sized granular sampler/synthesizer that can control parameters interactively (start, length of grain and number of voices).
From additional information provided on the product website, we learn a bit more about the Gecho Loopsynth:
The goal here is to make a channel where you can create and play back sequences, using the four built-in drums (at least for starters). You will learn how to play back a sample stored in MCU’s FLASH memory, detect triggering of proximity sensors, and control LED lights. The whole operation could be described in one sentence: Drive individual drums by four sensors, store these events into memory and play back on the next loop.
The Gecho Loopsynth initially started on Kickstarter last year, raising €49,107 of its €24,000 goal. The synth is priced at €55 and you can visit the product website to learn more.
