Scoring The Film Creed: Behind The Scenes

Swedish composer and producer, Ludwig Goransson, takes us through the process of scoring the popular film, Creed. Often taken for granted, the musical backdrop of a film is a crucial component emotional impact, and its fascinating to go behind the scenes.

Goransson employs an extensive variety of sounds to capture the theme of the film. As seen in the beginning of the video, he records the boxers pumping fists into a punching bag, capturing the reverberation throughout the gym. As well as this, he records the sounds of a live orchestra as the film progresses from sequence to sequence.
