Roland Announces The D-05 Linear Synthesizer, Emulation Of Classic D-50
Roland celebrates the 30th anniversary of their vintage D-50 synthesizer release by introducing the D-05 Linear Synthesizer, a brand new synth that emulates the sounds and tonal content of the widely renowned D-50.
At the D-05’s core lies the first synthesizer with Roland’s DCB technology. Paired with the exact PCM attack and loop samples that were so vital to the D-50 sound, the D-05 precisely recreates every tonal nuance in stunning detail.
Given how phenomenal the classic Roland D-50 sounded, an all-digital synthesizer, many can agree that the D-50 influenced many styles of music production, as well as helped inspire the movement among music producers to use digitally-produced sounds.
