Percussion Mallets Triggered By Modular Synth
In this video from David Cranmer, also known as thenervoussquirrel on Youtube, we watch a series of percussion mallets being triggered by output signals from a modular synthesizer.
Discussing the project, Cranmer explains:
This was a nice commission from Michael Donnelly in Australia. The solenoids are completely isolated from the synth system – it takes low current triggers and then uses a separate power supply to activate the mallets.
