NAMM 2020: Behringer Announces RD-6, TR-606 Clone

In the midst of this year’s NAMM Show, Behringer has introduced their next addition to their long growing list of synth clones – the RD-6, clone of the classic Roland TR-606 analog drum machine.

The TR-606 was originally meant to serve as an accompaniment to the TB-303 Bass Line synthesizer, meant for guitarists and other musicians to have a quick and easy drum and bass backing without a band. The TR-606 quickly evolved into much more than this, becoming a valuable drum machine for electronic musicians.

There is currently no pricing or release date information available for the RD-6, although we can certainly expect to hear more in the weeks to come.
