NAMM 2017: Roland Launches The RD-2000 Stage Piano

Among the exciting new products being announced at NAMM 2017, we have the RD-2000 stage piano from Roland. What’s great about the RD-2000 is that it really hones in on the raw sound of a grand piano and doesn’t get more technical than it needs to.

The video above is one demonstration of the sound that the RD-2000 produces. As you can hear, it has quite an organic tone to it, sounding pretty dang close to the acoustic timbres of a real grand. Whether you’re using it for a solo piano piece or even to just to accompany a dense mix, this is an exciting new release from Roland.
