With Behringer’s new clone of the Minimoog Model D, we have been curious as to how they match up. Fortunately, this video from Jareth Lackey gives us a thorough comparison of the two synths. How do you think they stack up?

As you may have heard, Moog has unfortunately decided to discontinue the production of the Minimoog Model D. This was a disappointment for many, given the short one-year life for which the Model D was brought back.

Behringer bold move to clone the Model D has turned many people’s heads, not only because of the clone itself but because it’s retail price is $399 – a tenth of what the Minimoog Model D costed.
