Meet Goliath, MIDI Controller That Controls 16 Parameters At Once
While recording a MIDI track, wouldn’t it be nice to simultaneously tweak or record other parameters of the instrument as well? Goliath does exactly this, a new MIDI controller from Gibbon Digital that can control up to 16 parameters at once. Not only could this be helpful for making an instrument sound more dynamic, but it could save a lot of time in editing parameters post-recording, the time that takes you away from the creative process.
Main Features
- MIDI learn
- Standalone operation
- Control multiple MIDI CCs at once
- MIDI CCs randomization
- Random notes generator
- Battery powered (9VDC, battery not included)
- Made in EU
In the video below, you can see how Goliath interacts with the various parameters in the Moog Little Phatty. As you can see and hear, Goliath is mapped to various modulation, filter and oscillator parameters, ultimately shaping the sound in a really cool way!
Goliath is currently available for $94, and its Kickstarter has already raised $2,259 of its $2,669 pledge goal. Given how useful this MIDI controller can be, whether in be in the studio or during a live performance, we definitely expect this device to gain more traction in the coming months.
