Making Music With Tuning Forks

In this video, we watch a performance involving 7 electromagnetic tuning forks, with each fork producing a unique and harmonically-rich sound. Each of the 7 frequencies are triggered on/off by the custom keyboard seen in the video.

While tuning forks are traditionally used for referencing an individual frequency, it’s awesome to see multiple forks being used in a musical arrangement. Not only this, but the resulting sounds are quite pleasant on the ears.
