It’s important to remember that while synthesizers come in different shapes and sizes, from signal paths to the GUI, they all essentially operate in the same ways. With this in mind, the tips provided in this video can be transposed and applied to the synthesizer of your choice.

Our favorite tip from the video was with adding noise. A thin layer of white/pink noise can compliment a synth patch in extraordinary ways, especially leads, as it adds body and energy to the high frequency content of your track. Most soft synths offer a noise oscillator…play around with it while your making your next patch!
