Google's "A.I. Duet" Is The Ultimate Jam Partner

Meet A.I. Duet, a music-making application from Google that uses artificial intelligence to create its own melodies. After the user inputs a melody, or even just a bunch of key bashing, it returns back its own rendition of what you played.

In terms of how it works, it uses what’s called neural networks, which are essentially computer emulations of the way the brain solves problems. With this, it interprets patterns in what the user played, ultimately spitting out its own version of the melody.
