Free Drum Pack Inspired By Prince

In tribute to Prince and his enormous legacy, Symplesound has released PurpleDrums, a free Ableton drum rack inspired by the Linn LM-1 drum machine. Characterizing the sounds of many of the artist’s productions, this release pays homage to the legendary artist’s sonic creations.

While the drum rack is the primary feature of PurpleDrums, it also provides an interactive manual that educates us about Prince’s approach to making drums. Additionally, they give background to the inspiration behind their creation.
