Creating Dynamic Sounds With The Nord Lead A1

In this video from Swedish keyboardist and composer Albin Westerlind, we watch how the Nord Lead A1 can be used to create a dynamic-sounding patch, making use of its ADSR and filter mod envelopes.

While there are a number of things that can be done to add movement to a sound, the Lead A1’s velocity morph function is undoubtedly a powerful tool in doing so. As he explains, the morph knob can be used to manipulate any of the synth’s parameters, adding dynamics and energy to the overall sound.
