Composing With The Moog Mother 32
In this video from Youtuber Andor Polgár, we listen to a pretty-sounding tune come together nearly from scratch using the bulky timbres from the Moog Mother 32. While we can’t really see what’s going on with the actual patch, it’s still a pleasure to watch.
The rhythm was generated with the Xaoc Devices Batumi, the quasi-random melody was generated with Make Noise Maths and quantised with the Intellijel µScale II
What’s awesome about the Moog Mother 32 is that it was the first semi-modular synthesizer to hit the market, making it easy to bring the workflow that accompanies a modular synth to the live stage. Not only this, it has a ridiculously-compact size and a sleek design.
