808 Day: Roland Announces SH-101 Boutique Clone, The SH-01A Synthesizer
In addition to Roland’s new TR-08 Rhythm Composer, the company has announced the SH-01A synthesizer, a boutique clone of the vintage SH-101 synthesizer. One of the most exciting features of the SH-01A is that it introduces 4-voice polyphony, extending the sonic capabilities of its monophonic parent synthesizer.
Our Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology reproduces the SH-101’s legendary sounds by faithfully recreating the actual behavior of the original analog circuits, right down to the fine details and odd quirks that have endeared the synth to musicians and producers for decades.
