In this Maschine quick tip, learn how to export audio optimized for loop-based performances.
In Maschine’s Export Audio menu, there is a check-box labelled “Loop Optimize.” In this video, I explain when to use this feature and how it affects exported audio. If you want to use the loops for performance, this feature will take the tailing audio of a loop – the sound that would come after the loop itself – and place it back at the beginning of the loop.
By doing this, Maschine lets you play seamless audio loops that sound just like sequenced ones in Maschine. This feature is especially useful for sounds that have lots of reverb, delay, or any effect that decays slowly.
