Maschine Tip - Software Preferences Menu

In this video, learn about the preferences menu in Maschine software. This menu includes options relating to recording, metronome sound, pad sensitivity, and more.

The preferences menu in Maschine includes several helpful options. In this tutorial, I go through the different pages and settings. First, under the General tab, there is a menu similar to Record Mode on the hardware. Next, the Default tab allows you to change metronome sample sound, default pattern length, and more. There is a Library tab as well as a Plug-Ins tab which I cover as well.

Notably, the Hardware tab allows you to change pad sensitivity options and display brightness/contrast. Play around with these options to see how they affect live performance. Lastly, the Colors tab has some different options for scene, group, and sound color.
