Recording Performances In Maschine

In this video, learn how to record real-time audio in Maschine. This process will let you capture live performances and finger drumming routines.

Maschine has a built-in function to export recorded projects, but there isn’t a way to record performances in real-time. In this quick tutorial, I show how I use Guitar Rig 5 to record my performances. I just add the plugin to the master bus, open up the Tape Deck module, and everything is ready to go.

When you want to begin recording, create a new sound and then press the play button. Once you’re finished, hit the stop button and then the save button to write the recorded file as a WAV.
