Learn How To Integrate Polyplex With Maschine

Johnny will show you how to assign and set up NI Polyplex with Maschine. These tips will work with other controllers too!

Maschine is one of the most popular drum sequencers/MIDI controllers in the world of music today. With the release of NI Polyplex recently, Maschine has become an even more powerful platform for musical creativity. Luckily using the two in conjunction is straightforward.

The MIDI learn inside of NI Polyplex is probably the easiest way to integrate it with Maschine. First, click on SHIFT CONTROL on the Maschine controller to put it into MIDI Mode. Now click on MIDI learn inside of NI Polyplex. Go through and click on any cells in Polyplex that you want active while hitting the pad or pads on Maschine that you want to trigger those cells. It’s that easy!

You can also set up NI Polyplex to work with the rotary knobs on Maschine. Check out the video to see how to do that as well as some other great tips and tricks to further integrate both Polyplex and Maschine together.
