Intro to MK2 - Pt. 5 - Grid and Quantization
In the next video for the Maschine MK2, understand Maschine’s grid and how to set it up for quantizing your projects.

To start this tutorial, I first describe different options for Maschine’s grid: perform, pattern, and step. The most important one is step size, so I go into detail and show some ways to understand what it actually means. By using the step sequencer or note repeat, we see the relationship between step size and our project.
It is important to set the correct grid size because quantization relies on our step size. Quantization automatically moves all notes to the nearest place on the grid. I show an example of how to use this on a recorded pattern, and then talk about some different options including selective and automatic quantization.
