Duplicating Samples vs. Working in Keyboard Mode
Normally, samples in Maschine are mapped chromatically to the keyboard, and producers simply work in keyboard mode to trigger and perform their sampled parts.
However, there are some situations where this is not ideal – such as when you need to pitch shift some but not all of the samples.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to duplicate your samples and lay them out by using pad mode controls to shift the base pitch of each sample, and perform sampled parts that include pitch shifted and choke grouped samples.
