This video tutorial will show how to setup Multichannel Routing in Ableton Live.
Setting up kontakt multichannel routing is Ableton Live is slightly different than other DAWs. In Ableton, it’s not particularly difficult, but it may not be that obvious. This tutorial assumes you know Ableton Live basics such as adding tracks and inserting instruments. If not you may want to view a Ableton Live primer or brush up in the manual.
This procedure can also be applied to other multichannel virtual instruments as well.

I think the way Ableton Live handles multi-timbral instruments in brilliant. The same track handles the midi and the audio. And to create additional outputs the routing flexibility can be extremely powerful.
