Komplete Kontrol mk2 - Creating & Modulating Techno Hats with Note Repeat

In this video we use the smartplay functions on the komplete kontrol mk2 to create techno hat patterns.

• Utilising the note repeat and arpeggiator for hats instead of standard chords is an interesting way of coming up with new and unusual patterns that we would not usually think of without the help of the Komplete Kontrol.

• We can add further interest to the sound by assigning modulation sources from within the software. This can be achieved by a range of different modulation possibilities such as aftertouch, pitch bend, modulation wheel, the touch strip or velocity.
