Welcome back to this weeks members video tutorial. In this lesson, Jonny will be showing us how to create Chords and Short Rises. These sounds go great with almost any sort of techno or heavy electro song. Take the time to learn the basics of these sounds, and you’ll be on your way to creating killer tracks in no time!
Part 2 of our Heavy Electro with FM8 series continues with both a great lead chord and a rising pitch sound. The Chord is a great sounding lead, that has all the Operators running through the Filter before being fed to the output. The effects are really what make the Chord Lead shine. Without them, the sound is a bit stiff.
The Pitch Rise is a great sound that can be used for musical compositions or as a stand alone sound effect. This effect also makes use of every Operator running through the Filter. This sound makes use of a pitch bend to make the rising quality.
We hope that you enjoyed this tutorial. Like always, if you have any questions, feedback, comments, concerns, or suggestions, we would love to hear from you. We are constantly looking for new ideas to continue providing the community with great sound design tutorials.
