Access Virus Ti tutorial - Dream pad

In this Tutorial i show how to make a lush and very wide pad using the Virus TI.

I always try to use Basic waveforms when i make pads as they are the purest and give the pad a “Glassy” Feel, For this reason i used a sine wave and a triangle, and also hypersaw for some added harmonics.. any effects that make a pad wider are welcome and with the virus we have many to choose from. The stereo widener is designed exactly for this purpose and the modulation i do on the comb filter with an lfo adds yet more depth.

All in all a gorgeous sound, with the neat touch of added reverb and chorus assigned to the aftertouch, within the matrix section. if your making this sound for yourself try adding other effects to the aftertouch and see what you come up with..
